Harbin Ice and Snow World 2007

This festival, held in Harbin, China gets more and more amazing every year. Giant blocks of ice are cut out from the nearby river to create incredible ice structures. Coupled with lights of all colours this makes for a breath-taking experience. There are even ice slides!

London’s River Fleet

Above is the River Fleet in London which was covered up because of London development. It was one of London’s most important rivers and it’s source can be found at the ponds in Hampstead Heath.
